My name is Brendan Mayer, and I’m the founder of Bright Cloud Consulting. I am a freelance Web content strategist with nearly 10 years of Web communications experience as a writer, designer, project manager and usability expert.

I consult mainly with higher education and nonprofit organizations because I’m an idealist at heart; I enjoy working with clients who are committed to serving others and making the world a better place.

In addition to my consulting work, I have worked as a Web content manager at a liberal arts college, a manager of an artist-focused Web design firm, a writer at an Internet startup, and a technical writer at a software company.

I have a B.A. in English and French from Westmont College, and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Redlands.

I am blessed with a beautiful wife, an energetic one-year old daughter and a disobedient black lab.
